Reason I chose EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (Director Shin Hee-jin) Honestly, in a way, the reason was very simple. From the start, other places said they would definitely do surgery first and told me not to worry, but only at EU they were like, no, that’s not it^^~ and opposed it lol. But throughout every consultation, I felt that they were thinking of the patient, suggesting better methods for the patient, and listening carefully. The consultant and all the staff were kind, and I liked the warm atmosphere~! And Director Shin Hee-jin was so kind too ㅠㅠ The reason I decided on double-jaw surgery My protruding mouth, which had been a complex since I was young, remained the same complex even after I became an adult, and that was so stressful. When I smiled, too much of my upper gum showed, and it felt old-fashioned, rough, and like I was wearing denturesㅠ Whether seen from the front or the side, seriously ㅠㅠ I kept being bothered by it.. So after just worrying about it for years, I thought I shouldn’t delay it any longer. Let’s fix the malocclusion and get prettier! That’s how I decided on double-jaw surgery! Honestly, up until 1 month after double-jaw surgery, there was still some swelling, and I kept doing mouth-opening exercises. I could feel myself changing every week, so I was really happy! Also, when I go around with makeup on, people don’t even think I had double-jaw surgery haha. That’s how much more natural my expressions are, and almost all sensation has returned! The wafer is uncomfortable, but once I got used to it, it was manageable. Now when I eat, I can eat most foods that can be mashed with my tongue, so being able to taste normal-world food is the best and happiest thing in the world>< The hospital also said my one-month progress was good, and as for the remaining swelling~ honestly, that’s something time will solve haha, so I’m waiting! I’m full of anticipation for how much more my facial line will change and become prettier~!
