Originally, one eye’s double eyelid came undone, so I wanted to do only the undone eye with a non-incisional method. And because the skin is sagging, slight multiple folds are about to form on both eyes. I went for consultations at hospitals. Hospital 1 - After checking the line, they said doing only one side is also possible. Hospital 2 - They most recommended incisional surgery on both sides. Non-incisional on both sides is possible. If I want, non-incisional on one side is also possible. But because the eyelid skin is sagging, if I only do one side, the other side is highly likely to come undone eventually, and later I’ll need incisional surgery on both sides. (They examined me the most thoroughly and told me the exact condition of my eyes.) Hospital 3 - Non-incisional on both sides is possible. In the end, only my choice remains. I don’t need perfect symmetry, so would it be an okay choice to naturally do only the undone side with a non-incisional method? (The side that hasn’t come undone still has a fairly defined line. I’m worried that if I revise both sides, the side that still has a double eyelid might become too deep and intense-looking..) Or since I’m doing it anyway, would it be better to pay more and do non-incisional surgery on both sides? For now, at the hospital I booked, the consultation concluded with doing only one side, but when I asked, they said on the day of surgery I can consult with the doctor again and change it to both sides, so I’m debating.
쪙민 I understand people usually do both sides to match symmetry.... If they say it’s possible to do only one side, it wouldn’t be bad, but does the other eye look like it’s showing signs of coming undone...? I think you just need to look at that
려울 [@Jjeongmin] The other eye still looks like it has a deep, firm line to me. It’s just that a slight multiple fold has formed near the inner corner of the eye. (The doctor said it’s because the skin has sagged. They recommended that if it comes undone later, I should do incisional surgery and fat repositioning.)
