I'm looking into revision surgery because my nasal bridge is crooked, and usually revision surgeries are almost always done with autologous costal cartilage, right? But is there anyone who had revision surgery with donor rib cartilage? I had also made up my mind to do it with autologous costal cartilage, but the reviews of revision surgery with donor rib cartilage at Finish looked okay. Is there anyone here who had surgery at Finish? How was it?
버디버디디 The reason autologous costal cartilage is usually used for revision surgery is that donor rib cartilage generally has a higher chance of absorption + inflammation, so autologous costal cartilage is used to avoid needing another revision. If you're thinking of doing one more revision, donor rib cartilage seems okay.
