Facial contouring (square jaw, cheekbones) + liposuction (double chin, cheek fat, …

Hello. I said I would get my stitches removed in 2 weeks and leave a photo review, but I still haven’t been able to post it... I was going through so much emotionally that I couldn’t upload it.. I had it done at a large hospital near Gangnam Station. People advise against large hospitals because of their bad image, but since it has been around for a long time, and because of the image that even if side effects appear years later, it would still be there as a hospital..... I trusted that and decided to go there. I’m having such a hard time because of cheek hollowing, lumps, and swelling. This is long ㅠㅠ First of all, the cheek hollowing got severe from about 1 week after surgery.. Because of the swelling, I’m now on day 50 and still can’t meet people or work. In week 1, I went to get the cheekbone stitches removed and receive aftercare. Before surgery, I had considered aftercare important, and on the hospital’s website it said that after 3 weeks of swelling care, additional sessions were possible. And I trusted the counseling manager when she said I would get 3 aftercare sessions and they would take good care of me, and since it was a large hospital, I thought they would handle it systematically on their own. But the place that provided aftercare was in a different building. I just thought maybe there were no empty floors in the building and went there. It seemed like a dermatology clinic under that hospital’s name, specializing in things like dermatology, petit procedures, semi-permanent makeup, and similar services. Then I handed in my appointment card, checked in, waited, and was guided to a consultation room. But here, before I had received any kind of care, they introduced and recommended treatments I wasn’t curious about and hadn’t asked about, and tried to get me to pay extra. I wasn’t someone who had gone there for the first time because I wanted skin care at that hospital; I had simply come thinking I would receive post-plastic-surgery aftercare.. I couldn’t understand what was going on, so I asked them to explain again, and it really was that they were trying to connect it to an additional payment. So I said I had heard it was 3 sessions, and that I would try it first and add more if it was good. Then.... they said it was something I could receive all in one day. So I asked, then do I get all 3 sessions in one day instead of coming once a week? Manager - “Yes, you can split them up too, but it doesn’t take long. And after you receive that, our hospital has @@@, and it’s really good if you do that. How about managing it together?” Me - I’ll receive it once first and think about it Manager - “There is a swelling medication, and even people at the hospital take it because it works well. You can see effects by next week. How about this?” They just kept repeating, how about this, how about this..... So since the swelling needed to go down quickly anyway and they said it worked well, I said I would do that. Then after I paid and went in for the care, it was over in less than 10 minutes. When I asked if it was finished, they said it was finished. I had consulted other hospitals, and some places offer unlimited swelling laser treatments, and some include exfoliation or hydration care, so I thought that since it was an old and famous hospital, the care would also be systematic. There were more staff there, but all three people I spoke with were so unfriendly, and I just came back feeling bad. Of course, I also didn’t receive the radiofrequency treatment you get after liposuction. After leaving, I wondered if maybe they had explained it wrong when they said they would provide this care for 3 weeks, so I called again. If they had clearly stated and explained from the beginning that the aftercare was poor, I would have accepted that and either added extra care or had it done at another hospital. This hospital’s aftercare was really bad.

And more than that, I have had problems continuously after surgery. No. 1 cheek hollowing, No. 2 swelling, and since 2 days ago, one more thing has been added.... A cyst? lump? (nodule) has formed... As each day passes, things should be getting better, but when I wake up and look in the mirror, I just stand there thinking, I shouldn’t have done it... I had been telling the director continuously about the cheek hollowing since 1 week after surgery, and I told both the contouring director and the lifting director again and again, but they said it would be okay once the swelling went down.. When I went in week 3 because of headaches, they looked at it too and said to wait a little longer, so I stayed put and waited, thinking it would go down. But since the swelling appeared, my skin got so bad that I went to another hospital for a skin-related consultation. Even though I hadn’t mentioned it first, they said I would need skin treatment too, but first asked what I had done to my cheeks because they were extremely hollowed, and whether I had any thoughts of getting fat grafting or even filler..... I had really been stressed because of that, and when someone other than my family pointed it out so specifically, I thought it must be severe, so in the end I went back on February 7, and they put filler into the hollowed areas on both cheeks, but the photo above is after getting filler. It’s more visible in person. Can you imagine how it looked before the filler ㅠㅠ? They said it would be okay once the swelling went down, but since I was very concerned because it was noticeable, they would put some in, so I received it. Today is day 50 after surgery, and people still ask me what happened. After surgery, in week 1 they removed the cheekbone stitches, and after removing the intraoral stitches in week 2, they said to come back after 3 months unless I was uncomfortable, but I’ve been going every week.. I thought maybe I wouldn’t go this week, but because of the holiday, I inevitably can’t go.. Of course there is pain since I had surgery, and I’m waiting thinking the swelling will go down, but starting two days ago, the left cheek area suddenly hurt, and when I washed my face, I felt something there. Visually, because of the swelling, I couldn’t tell if it was a lump. At first, I wondered if intraoral scar tissue was being felt from outside the cheek, and I waited thinking it would disappear, but looking today, it’s definitely a cyst... A hard nodule.. a lump, that kind of thing. I can’t really describe it, but it’s exactly the size of a candy. But even touching it slightly hurts a lot.. My parents are so worried, asking if it might be inflamed, saying it seems like a side effect, and since it’s the Lunar New Year holiday and the hospital that did the surgery is closed, they’re telling me to go to the emergency room, asking what I’ll do if it doesn’t go away when it’s my face. I’m anxious too..... First, I made an internal examination appointment for Monday, and they said it was fully booked and not possible, but maybe they heard my mom beside me making a fuss saying what if it’s a side effect, so they scheduled me, asking if late afternoon would be okay. They said that if the surgeon who operated on me isn’t available, I could at least be seen by a specialist. So for now I booked it and am waiting, but I’m so scared ...... To make the swelling go down quickly, I took all the medicine and pumpkin juice, and I walk every day. When I sleep, I still sleep with 2 pillows plus a neck pillow. I was planning to go to work after the Lunar New Year holiday, but I really don’t think I can. I thought everything would be good if I had surgery, but because of the swelling, I’m suffering emotionally, my cheeks are sagging, I have cheek hollowing, and now I even have a nodule like a cyst ㅠㅠ Should I go to another hospital too? ㅠㅠ
