I have double eyelids, but my eyes are not long horizontally, so overall they look round 2. The outer corners of my eyes looked closed off, so they felt kind of stuffy.. 3. Also, my eyelashes often poked my eyes in daily life, so I wanted to get it done at a place that could also correct entropion while doing the canthoplasty When I chose the clinic 1. Private clinic (I felt like large clinics would pay less attention to me.. and most consultations ended quickly, so I felt a private clinic was better) 2. A place that doesn’t excessively recommend all kinds of canthoplasty procedures 3. A place where not only the director and consultant but all the other staff are kind~ (I’m paying my own money for my own surgery, so I don’t think I need to receive unfriendly service!!) 4. A place with fast recovery (Of course I checked reviews, and I looked for places with aftercare like swelling laser or injections) In the end, I got lateral canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty + entropion correction at a one-doctor clinic. During the consultation, the director explained how much my eyes would be opened, but even on the day of surgery, when designing the shape, they planned it re~ally meticulously. Surgical skill is important, but I think it’s also important to find a place like this that reflects your opinions well After surgery, I didn’t have side effects like eye stinging or conjunctival edema, and on days 2-3 I had bruising under my eyes, but it disappeared around one week later (that’s how fast the recovery was.. fascinating). Since I wanted only the horizontal length of my eyes to become longer without touching my existing double eyelids, I think I’m most satisfied that the canthoplasty wasn’t overdone! Most of all, once the outer corners of my eyes were opened, my impression became much softer, and it was okay even without doing heavy makeup For reference, entropion is often done at ophthalmology clinics too, but the reason I got it at a plastic surgery clinic was because I was also getting canthoplasty, and I wanted the surgery to go well aesthetically without problems. Usually, if you get it at an ophthalmology clinic, they only look at functional improvement and don’t pay much attention to aesthetics....
