Honestly, I didn’t really care what surgery I got. I just wanted my peanut-shaped? face corrected, with protruding cheekbones and hollowness under the cheekbones. At first I thought about cheekbone reduction, but people around me said my cheekbones weren’t that prominent and suggested I try filler in the anterior cheeks and lateral cheeks instead, so I got it. But in less than a year the filler started moving around and my cheeks got really puffy, so I dissolved it. My real goal was just to improve that, but I didn’t know what I should do, so I think I decided to go to a large clinic that could do various things and get a consultation. Rather than deciding which surgery to do before going, I think I decided what to do and what not to do while talking with the director. What was really fortunate was that the director wasn’t someone who aggressively overtreated. This is just my personal thought, but even directors at large hospitals are employees, so maybe they recommend only what’s necessary without much overtreatment? That’s what I wondered. Anyway, I discussed a lot with the director and consultant about whether to extend and advance the chin, do liposuction, or do fat grafting, and in the end I decided to reduce the cheekbones with cheekbone reduction and slightly fill the anterior and lateral cheeks with fat grafting. I wanted a natural-looking line, and they said doing it this way would probably look the most natural. I’m 3 months post-op now, and after doing it I can feel that my face has become much smoother, so my satisfaction is very high. I sometimes think maybe I should have done chin surgery too, and although I’m very satisfied even with this, these days whenever I look in the mirror I start having regrets that aren’t really regrets, like, ah, maybe I should have done the chin tip too and made it two areas lol If I have time later, I want to visit the director again. I wonder if the director sees this community too. Probably not.
