I went to a total of 5 places, and I only wrote about the two hospitals that did not recommend ptosis correction. I have a ton of fat on my eyelids, monolids with epicanthal folds, and I tend to prefer a natural line rather than a flashy one (inline). ㅇㅇㅍ - ㄱㅊㅁ: natural adhesion When I said I wanted an inline, they told me I do have a lot of eyelid fat, but since the line would not be high, natural adhesion would be fully possible. This was the only hospital that said non-incisional buried sutures were possible... They said if I keep the line low, I don’t need incision or canthoplasty either. I put down a deposit for now, but I’m a bit scared that if I do buried sutures, it might come undone later. ㅈㅇㅌ - ㅇㅎㅎ: incision + epicanthoplasty I had wanted an inline, but the director said an in-out line would probably suit my face better than an inline, and recommended incision plus epicanthoplasty. They said canthoplasty would be better because the space between my eyes is on the wide side. Incision for a first surgery feels a bit burdensome, but the director’s explanation was professional, and the line they shaped for me was pretty and quite natural, so I was somewhat convinced. The managers were also kind, and there was no pressure to book, which was nice. But I’ve never thought the space between my eyes was wide, and they said the red line? in the eyes should be visible but mine isn’t, so I need canthoplasty. That part bothers me a bit.
