●ㄷㄹ - Director ㅁㅇㅈ When I said I wanted an in-out to semi-out line + lower canthoplasty + under-eye fat repositioning, they said, “Your eyes are pretty even now~” and discouraged me from surgery lol Maybe it was because I said I really hate when the line is set too deep or the eyes look slightly flipped outward, and that I’d rather not do it if that would happen ㅠㅠ The consultant told me to do it, but when the director actually told me not to, I was like, huh? The lines they showed me were all in to in-out lines. In the reviews, everyone said they pursue a natural look, and that was really true.. They even said I didn’t really need double eyelid surgery, and that lower canthoplasty works better when done together with double eyelid surgery.. Out of the double eyelid surgery + lower canthoplasty + under-eye fat repositioning I had first thought of, the nuance was that I should only do under-eye fat repositioning.. And on weekends, they take a 10,000 won reservation deposit to prevent no-shows.
●ㅇㅇㄴㅋ - Director ㅇㅎㅇ Unlike the previous clinic, this place immediately felt professional. As soon as the consultant saw me, she understood my eye condition well, and gave me a very clean estimate right away. But while we were looking at surgery photos, the consultant said something like, “This is an idol photo,” and immediately put the photo down. I don’t know idol celebrities, so I couldn’t tell who it was.. But maybe the director here was too busy, because during the consultation the consultant kept messaging on KakaoTalk ㅠㅠ It felt a bit hectic. But I really liked the line the director designed for me. They designed the line very meticulously too.. But the under-eye fat repositioning was so, so expensive... so I became very hesitant. The head director was 3 million won, and the associate director was 1.2 million won.. They said if I do posterior-lower canthoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning, the posterior-lower canthoplasty will come undone, so I should do everything at once, but if I do all of it, it’s 5 million won..??
●ㅂㄹㄱ - Director ㄱㅈㅎ First of all, the consultation wait was way too long. I think I waited about an hour. They were seriously pushy, saying they would discount a lot if I paid a same-day reservation deposit, so I should put money down before leaving. The line the director designed was very high. They definitely seem to pursue a glamorous look. But when I looked at the progress photos here, they really do posterior-lower canthoplasty clearly and well. To the point that if I were only doing posterior-lower canthoplasty, I’d want to do it here. And Director ㄱㅈㅎ was really handsome.
●ㅇㅇㅋㅌ - Director ㅇㅅㅎ It felt like they don’t overtreat. They said under-eye fat repositioning would have some effect, but it was borderline, so I could do it later. They designed the semi-out line I wanted well, but compared with ㅇㅇㄴㅋ, it was a little disappointing. And they do posterior-lower canthoplasty so naturally that when they showed me progress photos, I thought it hadn’t been done. When I asked them to show me photos where the change was definitely visible, only then could I see some surgical effect..??
●ㄴㅅㅎ - Director ㄱㅈㅎ Originally I wanted ㄴㅅㅎ, but the discount couldn’t be applied and the surgery date was too far away, so I just booked a consultation with ㄱㅈㅎ. While consulting with the consultant, I asked to see posterior-lower canthoplasty progress photos, and she said there weren’t many photos and told me to look on the Gangnam Unni app, so I ran away without getting the director consultation. I wondered what kind of clinic doesn’t even have review photos.. The price was cheap too, and when I asked a consultant at another clinic whether she knew Director ㄱㅈㅎ, she said she didn’t, so it seemed like someone without surgical experience.
●ㅇㅇㄷ - Director ㄱㄷㅎ Consultation fee was 10,000 won. But both the consultant and director consulted very thoroughly, so it didn’t feel like a waste of money. The director was definitely chic. It wasn’t comfortable. They pointed out my eye asymmetry, which none of the other clinics had mentioned. When I asked what I was curious about, they explained everything well. But all the other clinics said non-incisional would be possible, whereas here they said my eyelids were stretched and suggested partial incision, so I found that odd. They also said I needed ptosis correction because of my eye asymmetry, which made me even more puzzled. They said that to get a semi-out line, they would need to set the line as in-out and do upper canthoplasty, so I was like, huh? My eyes and eyebrows are close together, and my glabella is also on the close side, so upper canthoplasty..? I had never thought about it at all. Also, all the other clinics had said I have good eye-opening strength and don’t need ptosis correction, but here they said I needed ptosis correction, so it was a bit.. I had only been thinking up to non-incisional surgery and posterior-lower canthoplasty, but they told me to do partial incision, upper canthoplasty, ptosis correction, posterior-lower canthoplasty, and under-eye fat repositioning all together.. lol They said if I want a semi-out line, I need upper canthoplasty, and because the fat under my eyes protrudes, I absolutely need under-eye fat repositioning. But if I do posterior-lower canthoplasty and then do under-eye fat repositioning later, it will come undone, so if the cost is burdensome, they told me to split it into upper and lower eye procedures: Upper: partial incision, upper canthoplasty, ptosis correction Lower: posterior-lower canthoplasty, under-eye fat repositioning. The progress photos they showed were all good, but they only showed two representative photos, and when I asked to see more, they wouldn’t show me, which was disappointing. But what was also flustering here was that they hadn’t cropped the photos properly and showed them after cropping later, so I ended up seeing the model’s face.. I wondered, if I become a partial model too, will my whole face be revealed like that? And one of the review photos said it was after 1 month, but there was almost no swelling, so when I asked if it was really a 1-month photo, the consultant said it had been written wrong and needed to be corrected, and that it was a 3-month photo. Is it that hard to crop only the model’s eyes and correct 1 month to 3 months..? I debated until the end because the results were good, but after thinking it over calmly, I feel like it was a pretty not-great clinic..
●Conclusion● After getting the consultation at ㅇㅇㄷ, I felt flustered, so I went back to ㅇㅇㄴㅋ for another consultation. When I brought up what ㅇㅇㄷ had said about upper canthoplasty and ptosis correction, they explained why they had not recommended upper canthoplasty or ptosis correction. First, because my eyebrows and eyes are close together and my glabella is also close, if I do upper canthoplasty or ptosis correction, my impression would become stronger. They also told me my eye-opening strength was sufficient. When I mentioned that the smaller eye is raised, they said people’s eyes are originally all asymmetrical and that the smaller eye tends to be raised. After hearing the explanation, I felt like this was the place, so I paid the reservation deposit there. But I’m kind of easily swayed, and the consultant said since I saved the money I would have spent on ptosis correction and upper canthoplasty at another clinic, I should do under-eye fat repositioning. So I decided to do under-eye fat repositioning together too lol I’m spending my entire 5 million won savings to do non-incisional surgery + posterior-lower canthoplasty + under-eye fat repositioning. I’m so nervous.
