Just as there is a Clippy-L appliance for the labial side, there is also a Clippy-C appliance for the lingual side, and this one is a self-ligating type, so there is no separate wire tying and nothing catches on the tongue. So after getting used to the pronunciation for just a day or two, people around you won’t notice. With lingual orthodontics, compared with labial orthodontics, less force needed for tooth movement is applied, so the treatment period is a bit longer, but if you have financial flexibility and are socially active, I really, really recommend it. *For the hospital name in the post, there was no option for the university hospital name, so I selected another department at the same university hospital.
