I was curious about a lot of things and searched a lot, so I’m leaving a review in case it helps anyone who, like me, is considering “only epicanthoplasty” -Because there are usually many reviews of epicanthoplasty + double eyelid surgery together- I already had double eyelids, but my eye sizes were different, and I thought it would be better if the inner corners were opened slightly (Eye discharge was digging into the eye;;;) Actually, I had wanted to do it since the holiday last year, but I couldn’t get the dates to work, then suddenly made up my mind and Had surgery on a Friday afternoon at the end of April
What I was most curious about was whether the swelling would be severe and make it hard to go to work... (The year before last, I had lower eyelid fat repositioning because of dark circles, and I had severe swelling for 10 days) The clinic manager said epicanthoplasty doesn’t swell much And that while the stitches are in (removed after 5 days), wearing glasses would be fine, so I booked right away
The result is very satisfying! Right the next day, there was slight swelling, and after that there wasn’t much pain either (while the stitches were in). When the wind blew, it stung a little Both what I wanted and what the director recommended were natural, so we did it naturally (about 1-2 mm each) There was almost no redness, and it turned out well The clinic was ㄱㅅㅇ near Gangnam Station, which my younger cousin had done and recommended, saying it was fine for them (Though when I go to the website now, it seems they mainly do breast procedures...)
If you’re considering only epicanthoplasty, I don’t think you need to worry too much about the recovery period.!
