The reason I went for a consultation with this place as my first choice was that I had seen they were good at closed rhinoplasty and implant-free rhinoplasty. Personally, I dislike large hospitals and was drawn to smaller one- to two-doctor clinics, and my thought was, rather than going around to lots of hospitals, let’s first narrow it down to one or two clinics and go! *Primary surgery Desired materials: no implant, or autologous costal cartilage Desired nose: A bridge with no implant is being greedy! At first, I had the consultation with the consultant first, and she said my nose is small and short, and even now my nostrils are visible from the front, so if only the bridge is raised, the nostrils will definitely show more and there is a high chance it could become a piggy nose. So using costal cartilage is the best option, but if costal cartilage is used, it has to be done as open surgery. The director said exactly the same thing about this, and when I had a nose consultation in Apgujeong about 6 years ago, they also said my nose needed costal cartilage, so honestly I thought they would say something similar to some extent, and sure enough, they said the same thing When I said I dislike silicone, they said there is also a method of projecting the nasal tip forward and filling the remaining bridge with filler, but if I’m going to put in filler, I thought it would be better to put in silicone instead. When the director came in and we talked, he said first the nose has to be brought forward so the nostrils won’t show from the front, and if the nostrils show from the front it can look stuffy and like a piggy nose. So even if I only want the nasal tip without raising the bridge, it would still need to be done by bringing it forward with costal cartilage and slightly raising it.. He said I don’t need nostril reduction, and when I asked, “Should I also do epicanthoplasty while I’m at it?” he said if I do epicanthoplasty my impression will change a lot, so don’t do it. Good...
He seemed like a director who mainly does natural to naturally glamorous noses, and he said he likes to work within a range where the image doesn’t change too much. During the consultation, I really got the strong feeling that he was trying to design within a range that wouldn’t harm my original image, so I liked that. + The director gives a good impression
