I had a consultation first and then scheduled the procedure date, but for people who don’t have time, I think it would be fine to book a same-day consultation and procedure. I found out about this plastic surgery clinic through an acquaintance, and I visited because I heard they were very satisfied. The reason I got the procedure was mainly that whenever I looked in the mirror, I looked tired because of the dark circles under my eyes. Since the area under my eyes was shadowed, it didn’t cover well even with makeup, and it seemed even more noticeable when my face was bare, so I wanted to fix it. After consulting with the manager, during the doctor’s consultation I heard that it could be improved through under-eye fat repositioning and anterior cheek fat grafting, so I scheduled the surgery date and decided to proceed. The cost was a little higher than at other hospitals. But because the procedure was on the eye area, an important part of the face, I thought it was worth investing in. The hospital facilities were spacious and pleasant. In the recovery room, I changed into a gown, washed my face, took photos, and then headed to the operating room. After disinfecting the thigh area where fat would be harvested, I had semi-sedation anesthesia and the surgery proceeded. After surgery ended, I used an ice pack in the recovery room, listened to the instructions, and went home. Including the surgery and recovery time, I think it took about 2 and a half hours total. You may feel a little dizzy after surgery, so I think it would be good to have a guardian accompany you on the day of surgery. After leaving the hospital, I got my medication prescription and eye drop prescription at the pharmacy right next door and received the precautions sheet. The explanations were detailed in the notice too, so I didn’t have any questions or things to ask. If you’re worried about dark circles like me, I recommend it! I watched a lot of review videos on YouTube about under-eye fat repositioning too, but maybe because I had it together with fat grafting, I think the swelling lasted about 3 weeks. I think the swelling was completely gone by around one month. The hospital also sent guide videos and guide messages well, so managing it on my own was no problem. I also used the ice pack I received from the hospital well. Even just using the ice pack frequently seemed to bring the swelling down well. They said that after checking the progress at one to two months after surgery, a second graft could be possible if needed, but for now I’m satisfied. I think it’s a hospital I could recommend to other friends or acquaintances around me. I’m very satisfied with my dark circles being clearly reduced compared to before.
