Eye and Nose Consultation Review

I’ve become interested in eye and nose surgery, so I’m currently consulting with the hospitals below. So far, I’ve completed consultations at 3 out of 8 hospitals in total. Initials: (ㅇㄷ, ㅅㅎ, ㅇㅇㅇㅇ, ㄿㄹ, ㄱㅇㅈ, ㅇㅇㅇㅇㅇ, ㅅㅅ, ㅋㄷ) After reading reviews, I’ve also become interested in lower eyelid fat repositioning, so I plan to look into that additionally.

Hospital name: ㅇㄷ (located in Apgujeong) Consultant: Director ㅈㅅㄷ Consultation fee: 10,000 won Consultation details: Eye and nose surgery consultation. I liked the natural-looking review photos on the website, so I booked a consultation and visited. The director examined me first, and afterward the consultant explained the surgery schedule and cost again. Both of them were kind and explained things in detail. They did not recommend canthoplasty, and recommended incisional double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty using silicone and ear cartilage. I especially got the impression that they are conservative regarding canthoplasty. (I felt opinions could be divided on this.) They recommended surgery within a non-excessive range, so if you want a natural look, I think it would not be bad. Since it is a private clinic, I think they would also provide good aftercare. The price was also around average. I got the feeling that it could be a decent choice if you want to change your image through natural-looking surgery.

Hospital name: ㅅㅎ (located in Apgujeong) Consultant: Director ㅇㅎㅅ Consultation fee: 10,000 won Consultation details: Eye and nose surgery consultation. I was introduced to it as a hospital where an acquaintance of my friend had surgery, so I booked a consultation and visited. It is a private clinic. The director examined me first, and afterward the consultant explained the schedule, cost, and surgical method. There were also parts where the director caught issues in advance that even I had not known about and suggested a surgical direction. For the eyes, they recommended incisional ptosis correction and medial epicanthoplasty; for the nose, they recommended implant-free rhinoplasty / osteotomy. I especially felt that they had considerable pride in nose surgery. (They said that before starting surgery, if the internal nasal axis was deviated, they would correct that first.) However, they said that after proceeding with surgery, additional costs would occur for nostril correction or if additional materials needed to be used due to insufficient cartilage. Even if the cost is high, I would want to have surgery if the results are good, but I’m hesitating because there are reviews saying aftercare is not provided well. Still, during the consultation, they explained the surgical method and the detailed aspects of the improvement direction, so I liked that part.

Hospital name: ㅇㅇㅇㅇ (Sinsa Station) Consultant: Director ㄱㅊㅇ Consultation fee: none Consultation details: Eye surgery consultation. This was also recommended as a hospital where an acquaintance of my friend had surgery, so I booked a consultation and visited. It is a private clinic, and before-and-after photos for eye surgery were displayed starting from the lobby. I felt they had considerable pride in eye surgery. Here, because the distance between my eyes is not wide, they did not recommend medial epicanthoplasty. They were also the only place to recommend non-incisional buried-suture double eyelid surgery. And if I wanted to correct eye asymmetry, they recommended lower canthoplasty. The eye surgery reviews on the website looked so natural that if I were only doing my eyes, I think I would consider this place.
