Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

5 years after nose surgery

I had nose surgery 5 years ago, so I’m leaving a review. I had it done at ㅂㅈ Plastic Surgery, and as far as I know, they’ve moved locations now. When I had it done, it was near the south end of Seongsu Bridge, but now it’s near Apgujeong Station. They used silicone and ear cartilage. Originally, my nasal bridge was low and my nose was short. So I had my bridge raised a bit and the length of my nose extended a bit. For 2-3 weeks after surgery, the swelling gradually went down and I liked the shape, but the problem was at week 3. The clinic also told me not to go to a public bath or sauna for a month after surgery, but at week 3 I filled the tub at home and took a bath. I came out after about 30 minutes, and my nose had swollen. So I called the clinic and went in, and by then the swelling in my nose had gone down, but the nasal tip had rotated upward. The clinic said there was already nothing they could do, and even when I went back 1 to 2 months after surgery, they said there was no solution. The shape had already become unattractive because the nasal tip looked short and blunt. After that, depending on my condition, my nose sometimes turns up more and sometimes less. So now I’m getting consultations at clinics for revision surgery. These days, during consultations, I tell them that after taking a bath my nose became shorter, and even now, 5 years later, depending on my condition, my nose looks less upturned or more upturned. Some directors don’t believe it. Some say it’s because a slight contracture developed. Every director says something different, so it’s confusing. Anyway, this time after revision surgery, I’m going to be very strict with aftercare.
