<Before surgery><After surgery><After surgery>>> Info Nasal bridge osteotomy, hump nose Nasal tip septal cartilage, alar reduction I’ll keep it brief lol My nasal bridge was naturally very thick and my nasal tip was also very spread out (and my skin was thick too), so osteotomy + alar reduction were unavoidable. I wanted more glamorous facial features, and I thought maybe starting with my nose would help, so I began looking into surgery. The director at a hospital I happened to find said nose surgery was possible even without silicone, so I ended up having surgery without an implant. The director is the typical tsundere style. Compared to that, the consultant explains things very thoroughly. What I mean by tsundere >> only talks about what’s necessary, conservative. Within that framework, he matches the direction I want, keeps surgery to a minimum, and clearly tells me which material is the right one to use. Fortunately, all the hospitals I visited explained that I had enough septal cartilage, so there wasn’t much confusion, and I had surgery somewhere I could trust in terms of both price and experience. Since I had osteotomy, I went under general anesthesia (general anesthesia is safer when bone is involved), rested well in the recovery room, and then went home. The hospital building itself has an elevator, so moving around was convenient. What made me think it was well managed was that the surgical areas? were divided by floor..? That makes sense because it’s a hospital where each director has their own specialty. It’s not like one person messily performs every surgery, but according to each specialty. And within boundaries that don’t overlap. I heard they schedule surgeries and manage their condition carefully. I’d heard that directors with long careers like this usually have their own aesthetic standards? and because of that often clash with patients, but I didn’t really feel that. I figured the director would know best what nose suits me most.. I’m also kind of easygoing lol Once it’s decided that someone is a patient he’ll operate on, he seems like the type to put in even more care..? I felt that more during the final design consultation. Recently, while reading reviews written by other people, I saw a post saying they were really nice during the consultation, but right before surgery when talking finally, they spoke in a way that felt very off.. They were like, I’ll do everything well~ No problem~ I’ll do it safely~ and then suddenly their attitude changed, saying things like this problem could happen, you can handle that, right? This can’t be done to that extent, okay? You need to know that, okay? That’s not my problem. Like that, avoiding responsibility. lol Just run away from places like that, and please find a place that says they’ll take responsibility no matter what. Especially somewhere conservative about safety. I think you also need the courage to run away.... Putting a knife to your face is something you can’t take back. I also chose my hospital carefully, but everyone should go to consultations themselves and look carefully from how they treat you..! (Of course, aesthetic sense matters too lol)
