It’s been 5 years since I had lateral canthoplasty. That awful plastic surgery clinic in Cheongju.. All this time, I lived with so much distress over the D-shaped opening, scar tissue, and eye stinging. As life went on, I just couldn’t find time to get lateral canthoplasty restoration. I always wore a hat, wore glasses, and covered my eyes to hide them from people’s gaze. Finally, finally!!!! I was able to get the restoration done. Since I live in the countryside, I made a same-day appointment and had surgery right away. I don’t know why I was drawn to this plastic surgery clinic, but it appealed to me the most, so I trusted them and booked. I think I made a good choice! After the consultation, they took progress photos, and after I washed my face, it suddenly felt so real. I was seriously so scared that I was trembling. So I asked a staff member in the operating room to hold my hand, and the staff member held it tightly.. Thank you! Most of the staff were really kind! During the consultation, the director also recommended Lovely Canthoplasty, but because I had lived such a terrible life due to scarring.. I had promised myself there would be no more plastic surgery, so I only had lateral canthoplasty restoration. (But after doing it, I kind of.. regret not doing them together lol) Anyway. Since the outer corners of my eyes were normalized and lifted, my eyes became smaller, but I’m still satisfied!!!! Because the scarring was severe, it was unavoidable. Still, I can live a normal life now! I like it. There wasn’t much swelling or bruising either. They said aftercare is important too! For the next month, I’ll really have to take care of it very, very carefully.
