Is it normal for the director to respond to questions about side effects by telling me to look it up on the website if I’m curious? I understand he’s from Severance, but in my experience, even university hospitals don’t conduct consultations like this. Another customer waiting besides me seemed to be someone who had already had surgery, and it looked like they wanted to ask the director something, but the counseling manager defended him by saying, “The director doesn’t like talking with patients. He likes it best when the patient is lying in the operating room.” They’re a perfect pair. The counseling manager has a very loud, flashy style. Seems like a strong extrovert. After the consultation started, I asked just one first question, and she answered, “If you can’t trust our hospital that much, you can go to another hospital.” The hospital looks very small, and it’s a mystery how it has survived this long as a private clinic when it’s this unfriendly and does whatever it wants. Because of that, it seems like they charge high surgery fees. There also seem to be a lot of extra costs for this and that. (The part about the cost is my guess.)
