I looked into about three hospitals, and when I had a consultation with Director Oh Jung-seok at the contouring clinic, he explained things in the most detail. Since about a year and a half had passed, he mentioned that bone had formed around the pin area and explained how the surgery would proceed, which made me trust him. After surgery, the swelling was less than when I had the facial contouring surgery. I think about 60-70% of the swelling has gone down. Also, after surgery, I have no foreign-body sensation at all, and I’m satisfied because I haven’t had any side effects so far! I thought it was best to get the pin removal done at the hospital that performed the surgery, but it seems that’s not necessarily the case!
