My face isn't on the large side, but my cheekbones were prominent, so whenever I took photos, I was busy covering the cheekbone area, and I regularly got square-jaw Botox treatments. Then I realized there are limits to what procedures can do for bone, so I decided to get 3 types of facial contouring as my first-ever cosmetic surgery. I had consultations at 3 places, and I chose based on the doctor's experience, no overtreatment and a safe system, no pressure to book, not being a factory-style clinic, and a place that provides inpatient care after surgery (because I was scared of the jaw and bleeding). (If you consult at several places, you get a feeling... about how many procedures to do, whether to add lifting, etc., there is a place your heart leans toward...) It was nice that the hospital did the preoperative tests, so it wasn't a hassle, and there were no extra charges. On the day of surgery, I went to the hospital with only my credit card, phone, and hat. (They have everything at the hospital.) The doctor showed me the CT scan and explained in detail how much would be done and by what method, and kindly and carefully went over precautions and everything. After surgery, it hurt a lot Rather than pain from the surgery itself, I think general anesthesia was hard for me... I was touched by the angel-like nurse who watched over me all night... Thank you sincerely... I stayed hospitalized for one day, went to a nearby pharmacy, then took a taxi home. (It is completely possible alone.) And I used well the sauce bottle, gargle, lip balm, and tongue cleaner the hospital gave me. The next morning, the doctor called to check on my condition, and that warm call brought me peace again. I think these small details helped me recover uneventfully without worry. The most important thing is trust...! In week 1, I had the sideburn sutures removed and swelling care; in week 2, intraoral sutures removed, CT before-and-after comparison, and swelling care; in week 3, I only received skin care without treatment. I was scared because there were many reviews about intraoral suture removal, but it didn't hurt at all. It seems like many people worry and think a lot about eating, but maybe because I'm usually the type who can take several large pills well, I got tired of porridge and ate low-sodium noodles, sujebi, pasta, sweet potatoes, tteokbokki, etc., cut into small pieces, just tasting with my tongue and swallowing. (Usually a small dessert spoon at home is enough.) If you eat plenty of tasty food and go for walks 2-3 hours every day, it will be a big help for recovery. I'm not close with exercise, but during the recovery process from facial contouring surgery, I think I also developed a walking habit, so I gained a lot. There is still swelling left, but I like the overall smoothly refined line. My acquaintances also said my face got smaller and I look gentle and younger, and their feedback that they want facial contouring surgery too has beautified the memories of those painful, difficult 3-4 days.
