This is my review of double eyelid surgery at that clinic. I’ll write in a casual, clipped style!! Because I normally had monolids + double eyelids that would appear briefly if I put force along the double-eyelid line, I covered it with double-eyelid tape during school and with makeup after becoming an adult. Having to do makeup every time I went out lowered my quality of life, so I decided to get double eyelid surgery. That clinic is honestly very famous, and the people around me who had their eyes done there turned out so well that I was already about 80% set on having surgery there when I booked a consultation and went in. The doctor said my eyes are a bit short horizontally, so it would be good to make them longer sideways (slight epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty) and do double eyelids, and I strongly agreed.. On top of that, the consultation was very kind and confident? so my trust shot up. I had written questions in my notes, and the consultant also explained everything very kindly - at this point, I was 90% thinking I wanted to do it here. Still, I wondered if it was a bit much to decide after checking only one place, so after the consultation there I went to another place too, but they said my eyes didn’t have the angle for it and that I should just do double eyelids.. Ah, then imagining only double eyelids sitting on my really small eyes already seemed not great. I just went back to that clinic, made a reservation, immediately set the surgery date - had surgery - done. I really think it was a good decision to do the epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty together. It’s only week 4, so there are still scars, but once the scars fade and the swelling goes down more, I think it will look very natural. The women around me all say it turned out well, at least. Since after the surgery, I’ve kept hearing that once the swelling goes down, it will really look good. And I don’t know if my body type loses swelling easily or if the surgical method creates less swelling, but the swelling seems to be going down really fast. Now I just need to lose weight. Very satisfied.
