After about a month, the major swelling went down, and as I was living without even realizing time was passing, it's already been 5 months since I had 1-type cheekbone surgery at Soda Plastic Surgery! Until months 2-3, the swelling difference between daytime and nighttime was severe, so I kept thinking it would be so nice if my evening face lasted until the next day.. From months 4-5, almost all the swelling around the cheekbones went down, and it feels like it moved down toward the lower face. It probably differs by constitution, but for me, I didn't swell much the day after drinking alcohol, while lack of sleep or eating spicy and salty foods made me swell a lot! This was my first time experiencing a consultant who was this kind and responded so quickly whenever I had follow-up checks after surgery or had questions.. Oh, and before surgery I didn't know there was a separate aftercare program, but it wasn't just once; a skin care specialist carefully manages swelling with multiple sessions of almost an hour each, from radiofrequency that is good for swelling to modeling packs.. It's just a shame because I live outside Seoul.. If you live in the metropolitan area, definitely make sure to receive it!! On days I received care at the clinic, I could clearly see the swelling going down quickly! Now, like before surgery, I can open my mouth wide enough to fit 3 fingers, and I can tear into meat well too!! Because it was 1-type, I thought people around me wouldn't notice the change, but since the angularity in my face disappeared, I often hear these days that my impression looks much better and younger haha I was also worried that my face would look longer if my cheekbones disappeared, but my head isn't on the small side, so it actually looks less long! The one thing I regret a little is that if I had done it even one year earlier, it would have been better for my stamina and I would have become prettier sooner, so I feel sorry that I worried about it for so long haha
