For readability, I’ll write informally- Man in his late 30s. Very interested in beauty. Even though my weight was average, I had a lot of fat under my chin. And I was concerned about nasolabial folds. So I tried V-OLET injections for the chin fat and nasolabial fold fillers, but they didn’t help. So after watching YouTube, I thought let’s just remove the fat, and went for a consultation. Originally I was only going to remove fat from the chin and nasolabial area, but the director said it would be good to remove fat from the cheek area too, so I somewhat went along with it, said okay, and scheduled the surgery. I did wonder if doing the cheek area was unnecessary, but I decided to just trust him and had surgery that day (sedation anesthesia). Afterward, my face swelled up tight. For about 2 weeks, I was so uncomfortable I thought I’d die. It hurt too. But from week 2, it started getting better, and now my jawline is no joke. What I definitely felt was that people who hadn’t seen me in a while reacted like crazy, saying I lost weight, my jawline is amazing, I look younger, etc. (The biggest advantage of facial liposuction is that people think you didn’t have plastic surgery lol) In January 2024, a new female employee (29 years old) joined as my assistant, and she was slim in the body too, but had even more chin fat than me. So after we got a bit closer and talked about chin fat, she said it was the biggest problem of her life and drank a ton. So I recommended Director Kwon Byeong-so of NVU to her. I thought no way, but she really went. And that employee was also extremely satisfied. 4 months ago, other employees and I ended up talking about her, and they said her jawline was amazing and that her secret to being so slim must be exercise. My mouth was itching to say something, but I just laughed inside. But that employee said she had much less pain than I felt. So I do think pain really varies case by case. Conclusion. If your body is overweight, lose weight first; if your body isn’t overweight but you have a lot of chin fat? Forget V-OLET or InMode or that stuff, facial liposuction is the answer. And most causes of nasolabial folds are fat around the cheekbone sagging with age. (Excluding fine lines.) Facial liposuction improves this a lot too. However, even with facial liposuction, sagging needs to be improved somewhat with lifting. After facial liposuction, I often hear that I’m handsome. (Of course, I often heard I was handsome in my 20s too. A person who was originally unattractive won’t become handsome just because of facial liposuction. It feels like I returned to about 80% of how I looked back when my face was firm?) Anyway, Director Kwon Byeong-so, I love you.
