<Selfie taken a month ago>I saw someone else in the community write a facial contouring review, so I thought I should leave one here too (I used to always take photos only with SNOW, so I’m attaching photos that were taken at the clinic. Isn’t this more accurate??) Since I’m a man, I was even more cautious about getting facial contouring. Usually, facial contouring has a strong image of women... getting a slimmer face, so that made me more hesitant. I’m generally pretty serious about everything and tend to overthink a lot, so I think I worried a lot, starting with whether this surgery would really make me happy, and also about the cost.. lol;; To start with the result, I’m satisfied for now. I’ve written facial contouring reviews elsewhere too, but seeing my face before surgery again after a long time makes me sigh for no reason.. lol Since I’m covering my face anyway so no one recognizes me, feel free to look as much as you want. I’m not someone with much fat, but in the photos I look really plump. If you focus on the facial contour, my face shape is a bit asymmetrical on both sides and uneven. There were areas sticking out here and there, so I just wanted my facial line to look clean, no more and no less. You know that kind of face shape where it looks like the background could be cut out perfectly in one go, right? lololololol For the clinic, I debated a lot between two places among the clinics I visited in person. In reality, more than things like aftercare or monitoring, the best clinic is ultimately a clinic that performs surgery well, so I had no choice but to prioritize experience. After thinking it over, I chose one clinic and had the surgery. Pain after surgery? It hurts. Honestly, people who say it doesn’t hurt all seem like they’re lying. Bone was shaved down and the anesthesia wore off, so wouldn’t it be strange if it didn’t hurt.. But the pain wasn’t something that lasted for several days; it improved within about 2-3 days. Instead, wearing the compression band while swollen was also really uncomfortable.... If you get through those things well, it still gets reasonably okay. Before facial contouring, I was the same way, and many people ask how many days they really need to rest after surgery. “It differs from person to person,” but at minimum, taking a week off is right, and it is absolutely not true that it won’t be noticeable just because you rest for a week and go to work. One week is recovery time, but I think you need 2 weeks to go around with your face looking human. I own a clothing store, so my staff worked hard in my place and I was able to rest fully for 2 weeks. If you work a regular job, it may be hard to take annual leave, so you could rest by timing it with holidays like Lunar New Year. If even that isn’t possible, I think taking about a week off and going to work with a mask on could be okay.. (Of course, you can’t eat properly lol) Anyway, I had 2 types done, but it came out as clean as if I had 3 types, so I’m satisfied.
