<Before surgery><After surgery>I'm not just uploading this a month or two after surgery. I had the nasal bridge, nasal tip, and bulbous nose correction all done at one clinic, and now that it's been 4 years, I'm posting a review. Personally, compared with when I was going around for consultations, I think people's preferred nasal materials and styles have changed a bit now, but either way, when choosing a clinic, I tend to think it's 80% design and 20% materials, so I wrote down things that might be helpful for everyone here. Design (the clinic and the director's style are important too) -> I was the same, but most people who decide on rhinoplasty do it because they have a lot of dissatisfaction with their own nose shape. I also ended up having surgery because I wanted to change my bulbous nose into a somewhat naturally defined style, but other than cases where contracture happens because something goes wrong during surgery or recovery, when I look at people who get revision surgery, most of them do it because they don't like the design; From the start, if you don't know much about cosmetic surgery, and the clinic comes out strongly telling you to do what they say, it seems like many people here just nod along and suddenly end up getting surgery. When I went around for consultations, "Make it natural" -> Huh? I like a high nose, so why are they deciding that themselves? Even during consultations, I firmly stated my own opinions like this. "Since it's a bulbous nose, reduce the nostril wings" -> If they overdiagnosed like this, I asked everything, like what the shape would be without alar reduction and what side effects there could be if I did alar reduction, and checked it all. Places that really over-recommend things deliberately don't tell you much about side effects; They just say things like, "You absolutely have to do it, you'll see results," so it's much better to just nod and then ask somewhere else. That's why it's important to go to several consultations. I think the desired nose shape, your own preference (naturally defined to glamorous) = the director's preference has to align to some extent for the surgical result to come out well. So when I was going around for consultations, I put design as my first priority (of course, this includes the director), and my second priority was deciding on nasal materials carefully. Honestly, at the place where I had surgery, even booking a consultation took a long time, so waiting was hard, but if I hadn't been able to wait and had done it somewhere else, I think I would have regretted it. The director clearly addressed my concerns, and even after several years, it's been maintained well without drooping, so I'm satisfied.
