Everyone, great job~~~!! It’s been about 6 years since I had facial contouring surgery. At the time, I had quite a lot of contouring-related procedures, including 3 facial contouring procedures, facial liposuction, and fat grafting. General anesthesia felt scary somehow, and I didn’t want drainage tubes or hospitalization. Nose surgery also involves touching and shaving bone and putting things in, so within the broad category of contouring and plastic surgery, I felt it wasn’t that different, and like with my nose surgery, I had my facial contouring done under sedation. When I had my nose done at another clinic, I thought my face swelled a lot, but facial contouring swelled even more than the nose... My eyes became half their size I’m a bit sensitive, so it may have been harder for me Even though I knew the swelling would go down anyway, I really hate that feeling when my face gets puffy. That swollen feeling is so irritating and bothersome, and you can’t even wash properly You can’t really chew properly, but there are so many things you want to eat... Since I had surgery, I felt like I had to take care of myself, and thinking about losing weight was stressful!! I had the surgery thinking facial contouring would be the last surgery of my life, and that was already 6 years ago. Since then, I haven’t had any surgery. My facial contouring also ended well as my first surgery, so I never thought about revision surgery. Of course, I do get non-surgical treatments. Not treatments that change shape, like fillers, but I focus on skin and elasticity care. No one can avoid aging, right? So I think of it like paying insurance and keep up with maintenance. I was especially worried about cheekbone sagging, but I still don’t have that feeling. Of course, if I binge-eat the night before and wake up, I can look ugly because I’m swollen, but on days I dress up, I haven’t yet thought, “Why does my face look like this? Is it sagging?!!” (I’m currently in my mid-30s.) I still see a lot of posts saying people are struggling with swelling, but before 2 weeks after surgery, please don’t bother writing posts saying you’re having a hard time because of swelling... They’re really meaningless posts. But I understand you must be so frustrated to write them. Still, don’t write them They’re meaningless It’s completely normal for your face to puff up from swelling, look bigger than before surgery, and for you not to know where it got smaller or more recessed. Swelling eventually goes down. I had a friend who constitutionally didn’t swell no matter what. She had the same 3 procedures at the same clinic as me, and within 2 weeks her face got noticeably smaller and her lines came out, but that’s a top 1% constitution, so ordinary people should think it’s almost impossible, basically impossible. There’s no real answer to reducing swelling. Swelling does eventually go down, but I recommend walking plenty, drinking lots of water so your blood circulation is good, and not just lying down too much in the early stage after surgery! Criteria for choosing a clinic will vary depending on the person, but for me, it was important whether they would show me the full operating-room CCTV recording. Even if it’s a one-doctor clinic, I thought it was right to confirm with my own eyes whether that representative director performs my surgery from beginning to end and doesn’t hand it off to someone in the middle, so I considered this part important. And during consultation and facial design consultation, I looked broadly at how sincerely they examined me, and chose the clinic based on that. (Anyone would have contacted the clinic because they liked the review photos, so I left that part out.) Everyone who is researching online, going to consultations, or recovering from surgery and reducing swelling, great job~~~!! (The drama I’m enjoying the most these days. Park Bo-gum is the best.)
