Breast Surgery Reviews

Review after completing breast revision surgery. How should I bring it up to my husband...

About 10 long years ago, I had surgery with Allergan implants.. Now I’ve completed revision surgery with Motiva 300 and 320. I didn’t get revision surgery simply because I wanted to replace the implants. Since they were Allergan, not just any other implants, I did feel anxious, and when I recently had a checkup, they said there was a rupture..^^ I was also a bit unhappy with the asymmetry.. So I had revision surgery. But honestly.. I really agonized between removal and revision surgery, you know? At the time of my first surgery, I was unmarried, and I did it when I was full of desire for my figure, but now I’m married and busy just getting through each day. Another thing that bothered me was that my husband doesn’t know I.. had surgery. ^^;;; I felt at a loss about how to tell him.. Even if removal was one thing, what if I said I was getting revision surgery? I was a little worried about how he’d react. (I thought he might say I was being ridiculous at my age..) But as I thought about it quietly, I gradually realized I wasn’t worrying with “me” at the center, but worrying because of “someone else.” The me back at my first surgery did it because I wanted to, so I thought, what is there to be afraid of just because it’s revision surgery? So I had the revision surgery.. But unlike my first surgery, when I knew nothing and got it done anywhere just to make it cheaper, this time I searched hard because I wanted it done at a specialized hospital, a hospital with truly excellent skills. After choosing and choosing, I had the surgery at MD, and what was clearly different compared with my first surgery was that back then it was a general plastic surgery clinic, while this place is a breast surgery clinic. Maybe that’s why the examinations they do before and after surgery are definitely thorough and meticulous! During the revision surgery, they could also do a Mammotome procedure for a small lump found on ultrasound, so I had one removed at the same time. Even though this was my second breast surgery, there were many things I was hearing for the first time, so I think I found it fascinating. They say recovery from revision surgery is faster than the first time, but I still had a stiff, sore feeling for about a week. It was definitely not to the point of being in so much pain and groaning like after the first surgery. If I don’t say anything, even my family would pass by without knowing? That kind of level.. Still, I didn’t think just lying down was the answer to everything, so to help reduce swelling and as a daily walk, I walked for 30 minutes each day haha. Doing this again after so long did make reality hit me a little ^^.. but thankfully it was more manageable than I expected. The director’s skill is good. Still, I feel no regret about having the revision surgery~~ As you can see, the size fits my body shape perfectly too. The feel is also so good. I’d only heard people say Motiva is good, good, but I think it can hold its own even compared with real breasts ^^
