10 years ago, I had a thin double eyelid line made with the buried-suture method, then had it redone after 6 months, but even after that it slowly loosened, so now I basically have a wrinkled monolid. I went to consultations at three or four places, and they all said I need incisional surgery because it’ll loosen again. But I really hate that scar..? line that’s characteristic of incision... It also lasts a long time... If I do buried-suture again, it’ll definitely loosen again after a few years. Ah, I even thought maybe I should just consider it a procedure lol and plan to repeat it for life. Or actually, my eyes now are okay too. I’ve had other areas done over the years, so they’ve become harmonious hehe. Everyone says it’s an attractive monolid. But opening my eyes feels so tiring, and they look a bit like fish eyes because they protrude... Anyway, would my eyes be okay even if I get buried-suture surgery four or five times?
기치기치 If you don’t like scarring, wouldn’t it be okay to do that? I also did non-incisional surgery, and even if it loosens, I’m planning to keep having non-incisional surgery
midoricha I’ve had revision surgery 3 times, and it loosened faster and faster... At first it was 5 years, then 4 years, then 3 years... so I’m looking into incisional surgery.
