In my opinion, if double-jaw surgery is done for a patient case that truly needs surgery and you meet only a conscientious doctor, I think it is a really safe and good surgery! In my case, my temporomandibular joint condyles had worn down, which caused facial asymmetry, and I also had an open bite and a recessed chin! My overall impression improved tremendously with double-jaw surgery! I became able to have chewing function like an ordinary person, and there was also an improvement in my appearance! I do have a bit of regret, like maybe I should have gone for a V-line lololol, but safely performed double-jaw surgery became the reason I came to think it is safer than any other surgery!!
