Hi everyone!! I brought a nose consultation review! First, to tell you my situation, it was: first nose surgery / want no implant / pursuing naturalness / frontal improvement is more important than side profile / short and upturned nose. If you're curious about my nose, refer to my post, "Would my nose turn out well if I did it?" I chose these two clinics because they are famous for no-implant/natural results! 1. ㅈㅇㅅ(ㅏㅇㅣㄱㅜ) - consultation fee 10,000 won I called on January 7 and booked the earliest available date, the 9th! The sign saying "Nose Reconstruction Research Institute" was memorable. The interior felt ordinary and clean, just like a neighborhood clinic, and I went in with almost no waiting~ As soon as I went in, the front desk staff member (probably a nurse?) took photos, then I met the director right away and started the consultation! He first asked what concerned me about my nose, then placed something like a ruler against my nose and said that for a nose like mine, if I put in an implant it would become a mess (lol), so I absolutely shouldn't put one in. He said the current angle is just right, and that only the nasal tip shape from the front and the nasolabial angle that looks a bit upturned from the side need improvement. He said he would use septal cartilage as the material, and that the incisions would go inside the nasal sill and alar area, reducing only a little at a time, so the scars wouldn't show. Because he pinpointed exactly the parts I had always felt were lacking about my nose, I was really tempted.. And he said my mother had really given birth to me beautifully and said a lot of nice things,, he was a self-esteem protector He also put his hand directly inside my nose and looked inside my nose using instruments! (After looking inside my nose, he said, "Wow~ your mother really raised you preciously~") Also, I had double eyelid surgery, you know? He said it turned out really well and that it looked like I had it done by a skilled doctor, so I shouldn't touch it anymore. (My first surgery failed, so I had revision surgery with the same doctor..^^ Hearing him say that put my mind at ease) But I asked him to show me surgeries on noses similar to mine, so he showed me various before-and-after photos, right? But hmm..^^ I saw several photos of first-surgery patients, and honestly.. I could tell they changed, but whether they changed in a positive direction.. I wasn't sure.. It wasn't like, "Wow, the shortcomings were improved so naturally without looking obvious!" Rather, it felt like it did change, but the shortcomings didn't seem improved. He showed me one photo of a revision patient, and that one was really naturally beautiful enough to make me go wow. But I'm a first-surgery case So I wondered if that's why it says Nose Reconstruction Research Institute,, After the consultation ended, the staff member very coolly just explained the price and said if I wanted surgery, I could schedule it by phone! The price is 3.41 million won by card and 3.3 million won in cash! (At first I thought, "That's better than expected?" but since this is the price for only the nasal tip.. it's intense) 2. ㄱㅇㅈ(ㅣㅁㅣㄴㅜㅇ) - consultation fee 10,000 won I had the highest expectations for this clinic because they said they make it really natural and refined! Looking at reviews, they send a lot of people away, and apparently they have even written "just live as you are," so it was funny I called on January 6, but the earliest consultation date was the afternoon of the 20th.. I thought it must be pretty popular. But other famous clinics usually have waits of several months, so I thought this was fine! As soon as I went in, the front desk staff greeted me warmly. There were many comments saying the interior was shabby? but the waiting room was so cozy and nicely decorated I liked it And I filled out basic information and a checklist, and it was very detailed!! Illnesses I currently have, medications I'm taking, whether I have atopic dermatitis, surgeries I've had so far, family history, etc.. So it felt trustworthy! I went about 20 minutes early, and after filling out the checklist I went in almost right away!! There were some reviews saying the director was unfriendly, so I was a little worried, but he was very calm~ and spoke gently. First, the staff took photos of the nose shape held with a cotton swab, and the director personally took photos from multiple angles. He asked what I was concerned about regarding my nose and explained the characteristics of a pretty nose. He showed me photos of noses he operated on, and they were really natural and pretty If I were to do it, he said he would only reduce the nasal alae. I also mentioned the nasal tip bulb and nasolabial angle, but he said a nose with a large nasal tip bulb and an elevated nasolabial angle is a pretty nose, so he would only do the nasal alae. But.. my nostrils are already a somewhat pointed triangle shape even without doing anything, you know? He said if we reduce more from here, my already pointed nostrils would become even pointier, and that was something I had truly never imagined.. So he said if I still wanted to do it despite accepting that, then I could, and that my nose was fine.. He used the line, "If it were me, I would just live as is." And he said compared with the area of my face, my nose isn't that wide,, He said if I were going to do something, he'd rather recommend jaw Botox. I asked if he had photos of surgery on noses similar to mine, and he said people with noses shaped like mine are sent away without surgery, so he doesn't have photos..^^ After consulting with the director, I went into another room and talked with the front desk staff member (probably also a nurse!!), and the staff member said the director doesn't recommend surgery,, and that if I really, really want it then I can do it, but I should think carefully.. The staff member was so kind The price, if I do it, would be 800,000 won for reducing only the nasal alae, and I also asked about jaw Botox, which they said is 200,000 won / at 6-month intervals The talk about my nostrils was really something I had never thought of, but looking back, when I looked at other people, the part that made nose surgery obvious was the nostrils,, ha I got really conflicted.. If you have anything else you're curious about, leave a comment!!
