I had my first double-eyelid surgery when I was 20, so I was very young and did it without much knowledge about cosmetic surgery. At the time, I had it done at a large hospital that did both eyes and noses, but fortunately the doctor was good, so I was satisfied with the surgery itself. And as I got older, the baby fat around my eyes went away, so I liked it even more, and I didn’t really feel any side effects from the eye surgery?.. almost none. Now it’s been 10 years and it has loosened so I’m looking into revision surgery. In the meantime, I’ve experienced side effects from minor cosmetic procedures like fillers and thread lifting, and since this is revision surgery, I’m being more careful and searching many different things. Maybe because of that, I’ve seen a lot of side-effect cases and have come to know the fear of cosmetic surgery. Now I’m also in my early 30s so I think more about the later course after surgery too. (If the revision surgery goes wrong, I’m worried it won’t feel like it did before it loosened, my impression will change, and it could affect acquaintances, work life, marriage, etc. later..) I’m more anxious in many ways
