Undereye roll AlloDerm side effects... I got it removed

First of all, I don’t have any desire to speak badly about the clinic. Even though I bothered them several times, both the director and the manager kept their manners on a human level, and I’m grateful that they removed it for me.

Getting straight to the side effect story... At the place where I worked, an acquaintance had undereye rolls that protruded nicely; they didn’t look like filler and looked natural, so at first I didn’t even know she’d had surgery and thought they were so~ pretty.. After we got close, she told me first that she’d had surgery. I got the clinic recommendation and went, and if you look only at the undereye rolls themselves, the surgery itself was done well.. But when they were put into my flat eyes that originally had not even 1 bit of undereye roll, I suddenly looked older and like I had a sad expression, and my eye shape really changed a lot, including the outer corners looking lifted. It’s not like I had double eyelid surgery, but my eyes themselves looked like another person’s, so it was psychologically painful, it was uncomfortable to open my eyes and it felt like something was blocking my view, and the area where I had lateral canthoplasty opened wider - in the end, I’m scheduled to have lateral canthoplasty reconstruction soon - I was told AlloDerm adheres and is difficult to remove, so for about 4 months I thought, let’s just live with it.. but whenever I looked in the mirror, really ㅜㅜㅜ my eyes looked so old. It felt like my whole face had suddenly aged. There are eyes that look lively when undereye rolls are added, and there are eyes that look young and lively when the undereye area is taut. I was the latter. It didn’t suit me, like I had lumps of fat attached, and my eyes became shrimp-like as if they were pulled up from under the eyes. Originally my eyes were large both horizontally and vertically, but the vertical length became shorter and my eyes wouldn’t open properly.

I’ve experienced nose side effects too, but maybe because I’d lived hearing a lot that my eyes were pretty, the impression change from the undereye roll side effect was much bigger.

Anyway, after worrying continuously.. I even quit my job because of the undereye rolls, and felt I couldn’t live like this, so I got them removed yesterday. During the removal, the anesthesia wore off and I felt the pain of my flesh tearing. I signed a waiver saying it could become bumpy because of adhesions, but it was to the point that I wanted to stop midway and leave..ㅠㅠ It was the greatest pain of my life, but the removal went well. Because they had to open it so much to release the adhesions, it seems some tissue tore and came off a bit. Anyway, after removal, even though swelling and bruising are severe, my eyes actually got bigger. I guess the undereye rolls were taking up a lot of space from below.

I don’t recommend it for people whose outer eye corners are lifted, people who have had lateral canthoplasty, or people who originally have not even 1 bit of undereye roll. People who have some degree of undereye roll structure and round eyes may get a natural undereye roll effect like my acquaintance, but if undereye rolls go wrong, you can look extremely old ㅜㅜ Still, if you really want to do it, I hope you try filler first instead of surgery..

For several months, whenever I looked in the mirror I felt suffocated and frustrated, but now I feel a bit relieved and like I can live. I’m not going to put anything into my face anymore.
