1 week after double-eyelid revision surgery Natural adhesion double eyelid + non-incisional ptosis correction only on the right side This is how it looks I know I normally need to wait a few more weeks.. But even when I look up other 1-week non-incisional reviews, it doesn't seem like they were swollen this much... It's only been a week since the revision surgery, but the swelling is almost no different from day 4 (I wanted it to look natural, so I didn't set the line high and only raised it by about 1 mm..) Even though only the right-side ptosis correction had loosened, so I only redid the ptosis correction on that side, the amount of the upper part of my iris that shows looks like it may be similar to before the revision surgery.. I have to go to work right away on Monday, and now I'm suddenly worried.. They told me to do cold compresses only until day 3, so I haven't done them since then. Should I do more even now?
티안나 I don't think it's that asymmetrical, and the line definitely got higher, so I think it'll be pretty once the swelling goes down! Do more cold compresses and keep going for walks!!
서해98 When I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery, I was also really stressed because of the asymmetry, but later so much swelling went down that I ended up liking the eye I hadn't liked even more, so I hope you don't worry! And looking at the way the iris is covered, it's because the swelling is worse on the right! Don't worry too much!
eieir [@티안나] I haven't done cold compresses for a few days... I'll try starting again today! Thank you
eieir [@서해98] Reading your comment makes me feel a bit comforted Thank you so much for the comment! Could I ask how long it stayed asymmetrical for you..?
서해98 [@eieir] I think mine lasted for more than about 2-3 weeks! And if you have a lot of flesh on your upper eyelids, the double eyelid keeps getting thinner as the swelling goes down, to the point where you'll think, please stop getting thinner.. so don't worry too much
eieir [@서해98] Thank you for letting me know haha I'll hang in there for a few more weeks!
