I live outside Seoul, so I took annual leave and went to Sinsa for a consultation. Since it was a well-known clinic and I had seen a lot of ads for it, I honestly thought the consultation would be over quickly. However, the doctor honestly told me that if I did it, the downsides would outweigh the benefits.
He said with confidence that sagging skin would definitely occur, and asked whether it was really worth shaving down bone just to become prettier. I felt really reassured, and thought he was a conscientious doctor who assessed things sharply and truly cared about the patient.
If I ever have surgery, no matter how much it costs, I would want to do it here. I wasn’t separately informed of the surgery cost, but I think I’ll just live with my cheekbones as they are.. Thank you!
