I had it done in Busan at ㅇㄷㅈ. To put it bluntly, I wouldn’t really recommend the place.
I wanted natural-looking eyes like a hidden double eyelid, so I thought it wasn’t a big surgery and went ahead after the consultation, but even 9 years later I still worry about the marks and can’t take photos with my eyes closed...ㅋㅋ I’m also looking into surgery to remove them. Back then, this was before things like eye correction were even being talked about, so I thought double eyelid surgery was the only answer, but I don’t think that was true.
I had partial incision + ptosis correction + fat removal.
For the ptosis correction, they inserted something like a hose through the eyelid...? (I saw it in the operating room under local anesthesia, so I’m not exact.) The strength to open my eyes got much better, so that part I like.
As for partial incision, outwardly it seems not much different from full incision. I wanted to do buried sutures because I like natural results, but they said ptosis correction absolutely required an incision. If you care a lot about the line, I wouldn’t really recommend partial incision either. And the thing I liked least was that they made the line uneven, so only the front part on one side has a somewhat larger fold. When I asked after the surgery, they told me to come back after about a year when the swelling went down.. I moved, so I couldn’t go, and time passed like this;
Anyway, to summarize: 1. Partial incision is still an incision. It is not natural. 2. If you’re considering incision because of ptosis, think about other methods too. That’s about it.. Everyone, don’t treat this like a simple surgery and be lazy about it; please look into several places carefully and get surgery.
