Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

A case with a narrow space between the eyes and eyebrows.. I had revision surgery (day 3)

I got double-eyelid revision surgery and under-eye fat repositioning~!

The hospital is one I had been considering for a long time, famous as a revision-specialized hospital, so I had a consultation there and got it done!

It’s a hospital specializing in revision surgery, and it’s also mentioned a lot here and is famous. Also, mine wasn’t my first surgery but revision surgery..ㅜㅜ; and I was also going to have under-eye surgery..ㅜㅜ;

I thought the price would be a burden, but the consultation went ahead at a surprisingly good price, so I immediately scheduled the surgery date and paid the deposit..!

The distance between my eyes and eyebrows was originally close.

I had my first double-eyelid surgery by partial incision when I was 20, and now that I’m 26, my double eyelids had become too inner-double, and my eyelids were pressing down on my eyelashes, so I had revision surgery.

I told the doctor that I really liked my current eyes and didn’t want them to change, just to improve only the part where the middle of my eyelashes was being pressed down, so that when other people saw me they’d say, “Did you really have revision surgery?” and it would look the same, to the point that only I would know I had revision surgery..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

That’s all I asked for.

I had my first surgery by partial incision, but he recommended buried-suture revision surgery. He said that as time passes and I age, the eyelids will droop more, so when I get older I’ll have to do it again, and for that reason he recommended buried-suture instead of incision, so I proceeded with buried-suture surgery.

The narrow distance between my eyes and eyebrows also played a part.

But the surgery was done under sedation + local anesthesia, and people say when you get sedation you fall asleep, say nonsense, or float around in space, but I.. didn’t fall asleep..ㅋㅋㅋ;;

I kept listening to the sounds, thinking, “When will I fall asleep, when will I fall asleep?”

I heard there are anesthesias where you don’t really sleep??? so I just thought maybe it was that.

I was just lying there thinking, I guess they’re doing it, but during my first surgery too, the anesthesia wore off in the middle, so they re-administered anesthesia and continued the surgery. This time too.. while they were doing the last eye’s under-eye fat repositioning, it wore off, so I groaned and endured itㅜㅜ

They didn’t give me anesthesia again and just kept going, saying, “Uh uh~~ it’s done~~ it’s all over~~##”.. It hurt so muchㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅜㅜㅠㅜ

Then it ended, but wow.. my eyes really wouldn’t open, so I was seriously flustered;

Even when I had partial incision for my first surgery, I didn’t swell this much, but wow, this time it was just pinching with buried sutures, and still I swelled so much my eyes wouldn’t open; because of bloody tears, my vision was red and I couldn’t see..

My first surgery wasn’t very hard, so with that memory I confidently went to surgery alone, but I regretted it, thinking I should have come with my mom;

I was so swollen I couldn’t see ahead, and bloody tears kept coming outㅜㅜ

I was going to take the subway home, but somehow I ended up taking a taxi home, and that evening the surgical area throbbed and I even got a headache, so it was really hard;

From the next day, I could open my eyes a little more bit by bit..

Even though the double eyelids are very swollen, the eyelid space is so narrow that I’m worried the line may have been set too highㅠㅠ..

I’m just hoping please, please, it’s because of swelling and it’ll be okay once the swelling goes down..

To be honest, I’m really, really anxious right nowㅠㅠ I’m scared they’ll still be sausage eyes even after the swelling goes down..ㅠㅠ;

Right now I have chemosis and the swelling is so severe that my nasal bridge has completely disappeared, and right after surgery my upper lip was swollen like it had been stung by a beeㅜㅜㅋㅋ

Needless to say about the double eyelids, the under-eye fat repositioning area is also extremely swollen, so it’s like the mucosa is everted from a lower canthoplasty side effect.. it’s like that right nowㅜㅡㅜ

The whites of my eyes also turned red from chemosisㅜㅜㅎㅎ

It wasn’t even incision, so why is the swelling this bad? Please just don’t let it be sausage eyesㅠㅡㅜ I’m praying desperately

If you know any great tips to reduce swelling quickly, please help meㅠㅜㅎㅎ
