6-month review of Doublelo Gold treatment

Last December, as a Christmas gift, my parents said they would get me a procedure, so I had the Doublelo Gold treatment. I had it done at a plastic surgery clinic I went to through a recommendation, and they gave me a detailed consultation before the procedure, so I felt reassured. More than anything, they said the procedure time was really short and that I could go right back to daily life, which really tempted me lol When I told people around me I had Doublelo done, back then I was exactly 20, so they kept asking why I got it done when I was still so young and whether it wasn't a lifting procedure for older people... but that wasn't the case at all. At the hospital I went to, they actually said younger people get this because it makes the face smaller lol The pamphlet they had at the clinic said the procedure only takes 8 minutes, but it also said the effect is dramatic and that it improves not just lifting but skin texture too, so honestly I was half skeptical when I got it. I thought, if it really works that well, shouldn't all thread lifts disappear? But since the doctor said the effect was definite, I trusted it and went ahead. I was already at the hospital, so it would've been awkward to say I didn't want to do it at that point lol Lying on the bed with ultrasound gel on my face, it honestly didn't hurt that much. Pain was my biggest worry, but it wasn't unbearable, just a bit uncomfortable and tolerable...??? After doing one side, I sat up and looked at the shape, then did the other side, and the moment I looked in the mirror, the difference between the side I had done and the side I hadn't was obvious. I have a lot of facial fat, especially a lot of chin fat, and the jawline on the treated side felt really neatly defined...?? It wasn't pulled up as tightly as thread lifting, but if the effect is visible to the naked eye right after the procedure, I felt it wasn't bad value for money lol Then I finished the other side too and the procedure was over... I went to the hospital at 11 and left before 12 even hit after consultation and the procedure. The consultation took longer than the procedure lol For about two weeks after Doublelo, when I washed my face or put on makeup and pressed or rubbed the treated area, I felt something like muscle soreness..? stiffness? and got scared that something had gone wrong. So I called the hospital, and they said pain is normal, and that the reason for the pain is that elastic fibers form inside and pull up the sagging fat, which reassured me for now. Then my jawline gradually became neater, and by around March it was clearly visible that the sagging chin fat caused by the flesh had lifted. Comparing photos taken in winter with photos taken in March and April, in winter there was this round chin-faced person in the picture, but in March I at least looked somewhat human..? lol People around me also said my face had gotten smaller and asked if I had lost weight in the winter.. March was really so happy for me. Then by May, I felt like I had gained weight again somehow, and I remembered the hospital saying the treatment interval was about 6 months, so I thought maybe the effect was wearing off. So I'm planning to go back to the hospital soon... Personally, the effect was better than I expected for the cost, and thread lifting goes over 1 million won while this was possible in the 200,000-won range, so I'm thinking of saving money little by little from part-time jobs and getting it regularly. Once every 6 months feels like a pretty long treatment interval too lol Oh, and maybe it's just my imagination, but I feel like not only the lifting improved, my skin got better too. Makeup goes on so much better.. I didn't expect that, so it was a nice surprise, and going there to lift sagging skin but getting skin care as a bonus felt satisfying lol
