The foreign-body sensation was sooooo bad that I kept tearing up the whole time and it was a mess
At first I thought something was stuck in my eye, so I went to an ophthalmology clinic They asked when I had double eyelid surgery, said there was a stitch, and said they didn’t know whether they were allowed to cut it, so they told me to go to the hospital where I had the surgery
It’s really far from my house, but I went there again... The director said that as the swelling went down, the stitch had become exposed, and that even if they cut this, the double eyelid wouldn’t come undone because it was tied in multiple places, so it was okay to cut it, and they cut off the exposed part for me
There was a bit of bleeding while they cut it too Maybe because the mucous membrane got scratched, it still feels a bit stinging and there’s a little foreign-body sensation too ㅠㅠ
I didn’t like my nose, so I had it removed early, but I thought my eyes had turned out well, and now they’ve handed me this mess.......
I asked how likely it was for something like this to happen again
They said the stitch being exposed like this is extremely rare in itself, and that there’s absolutely no way it would recur, but sigh... I have to be able to believe that.... I just... regret getting on the operating table so muchㅠㅠ
For people like me who are scared and sensitive, I recommend not doing it....
