I had surgery through an open approach 5 years ago, but it didn’t suit my face and they only made the bridge higher. (When I went to another hospital for a revision consultation, they said the doctor probably hadn’t carved the silicone to fit my face, but had just inserted a ready-made silicone implant, meaning a standard off-the-shelf implant made for the nasal bridge.) Back then, I was young and didn’t know much, so I had revision surgery again at the same hospital and asked them to make it as low and natural as possible. The revision was done through a closed approach. I only thought it looked somewhat natural, but I never felt that my nose had become pretty, and I also didn’t like that the nasal tip was raised too much so my nostrils showed. On top of that, I developed nostril asymmetry and a diagonal scar.
But I didn’t want to touch it anymore, so I just left it alone. Recently, I started feeling like it was gradually becoming crooked, so while I was looking into nose revision surgery, I found that these days it’s easy to check by searching whether someone is a specialist. When I searched, it turned out they were not a board-certified plastic surgeon. So I think that’s why the shape isn’t pretty ㅠ 5 years ago, I’m sure I was deceived by a broker from a ㄴㅇㅂ cafe. Everyone, please don’t believe everything in the flood of information. Filter things carefully and go to a good hospital.
Of course, there may be cases where it turned out well and suited the person’s face. Please just take my post as a reference.
