It's been 18 days since the surgery, and in the space under the cheekbone near the jaw, if I yawn or open my mouth a little, there is pain on only one side? It hurts. I didn't seem to have that during the first week, but maybe it's because I've been forcing myself to eat with a big spoon. The area under my chin toward my neck also hurts when I open my mouth. It's only been a few days, so is it because I've been pushing too hard? People say it gets better after a month, so will I be okay by then? I really need help. And is it okay to sleep on my side?
