Botox Reviews

Don’t get Botox in several areas all at once.

I had originally been getting Botox regularly in my forehead, glabella, pebble chin, jaw, and salivary glands. Forehead and glabella: once every 4 months Pebble chin and jaw: once every 5–6 months Salivary glands: once every 6 months That’s how I had been doing it, but this time all the timing lined up, so I got them all done at once. Maybe it was too much, because at night my body hurt like I had body aches, and from 3 days later, my headache was so severe that on the 4th day I contacted the clinic and went in, and they prescribed medication. I think because I got them all at once, muscles that I normally hadn’t been using much (the temporalis muscle or the back-of-the-head area) started being used and irritated a nerve. The medication the dermatology clinic director gave me didn’t help at all, so I went to a neurosurgery clinic, got a different prescription, took it, and it got a bit better.. The headache was so severe that I even felt nauseated, and even when I was lying down, the ceiling was spinning around. I can’t completely stop getting Botox, but for the time being, I’m planning not to get it for about a year.. And even if I do get it, I think I’ll need to get each area done separately, not all at once.. Please keep this in mind..
