I'm from outside Seoul, so I didn't know which hospitals there were famous and what not. I asked a friend who lives in Seoul which hospital was good for double eyelid surgery, and they told me ㅍ(ㅏㅂ), so I looked into it. There were tons of reviews, and the photo reviews were good too, so I booked a consultation. Honestly, when I looked on the app, the reviews all felt a bit ad-like? The photo reviews all had the same angles and filters too.. No matter how much I did online research, I couldn't really feel a big difference on the app, so I kept searching the internet and then found this community this time, and I don't know how lucky that was I actually went to one consultation at ㅍ the day before I joined this community. I just thought it had the most reviews, so I was like, let's just trust it and go. But after the consultation I realized that was a really dangerous way of thinking, so I joined this community because I felt I should research more carefully. I'll start the review. The wait time was 2 hours. Even though it was a weekday, there were really, really a lot of people. They didn't give any separate guidance like how long it would take, and I just had to wait all day long...! After waiting 2 hours, I finally went into the consultation room. At first the consultation manager drew the line for me and kept telling me to do this and that. At first they talked about forehead lift, but when I said I wasn't doing a forehead lift, they recommended eye correction. When they asked how much I was thinking of spending, I said I didn't really know, and since I had specifically booked a consultation with the chief surgeon, they said the chief surgeon costs twice as much, so wouldn't the price be a burden, and recommended another surgeon. Later, after the consultation ended, I saw that this was the doctor with fewer reviews. They said they would bring another doctor, so I waited alone in the consultation room for another 10 minutes. The waiting just kept going... I got a little annoyed in the middle, but I held it in because the doctor who came for the consultation was kind. Dr. G.S.Y. was extremely kind and repeated the line design several times to get it right. Everyone says in the reviews that the doctors seem tired when you go for a consultation, but this doctor was very bright and smiling throughout the consultation. However, after the consultation I checked the reviews, and the reviews were bothering me, so I couldn't be certain and passed...! Thinking about it, the kindness was really nice, but I didn't feel the kind of professionalism that would give me confidence. They just kept drawing the line and saying I needed canthoplasty, and that they would make it pretty...? That was the kind of nuance. It wasn't like, because my eyes are like this, I need to do this and that. It was more like, I'll make it pretty for you~ A bunch of nice words! So I almost trusted them, but after I left and thought it over carefully, I didn't feel certain enough, so I passed. In the consultation reviews for ㅍ, there were many posts saying that if you request the chief surgeon, they switch you to another doctor for the consultation. The consultation manager felt like they were flexibly slotting customers in somehow,, The chief surgeon for the semi-out line is famous, so I requested that, but suddenly they said that for semi-out, this doctor is better than the chief surgeon, and switched the doctor ^___^ Anyway, there were really, really a lot of people Maybe it's because it's peak season right now, but there were so many people that the waiting was tiring, and with so many people it felt a bit chaotic! Anyway, I'm going to keep doing more in-person consultations!
