<1 week after surgery / before surgery><Current, 5 weeks>After agonizing so much over surgery for my low nose, which was a real complex of mine, I decided I should get it done while I was even one year younger, and I did all my research only through a community. My nose was so low and small that you could practically say I had no nose lol.... I only looked for clinics with a single director, specializing in rhinoplasty, pursuing natural results, and with reasonable prices. This plastic surgery clinic met all the conditions, there was no delay for the consultation, and the director kindly explained everything, so I trusted them!! The fact that there was also an anesthesiology specialist made me feel really reassured for starters. The fact that autologous costal cartilage would be used for my first surgery bothered me a lot, so I mentioned this during the consultation too. The director paid attention to that and made the scar as small as possible. What I wanted was a ‘straight-to-slightly-curved line + as high as possible while looking natural on my face(?) + rounded nasal tip + not too thin a nasal bridge from the front,’ and these parts were done in a way I’m really satisfied with.. It’s exactly week 5 now, and for now I’m so, so satisfied.. I even wonder why I spent years worrying about it instead of just doing it in my early 20s. There’s no pain either!! Experiencing shadows appearing for the first time because my nasal bridge is higher makes me actually enjoy taking photos. I’m so grateful that they matched my needs without making it look out of place on my face and without pressuring me into other procedures or surgeries.. First of all, I really recommend it to friends who want to use autologous costal cartilage, and if you’re looking for a single-director clinic, I hope you definitely go in for a consultation at least once.
