First of all, pain: almost none. Instead, I couldn't breathe and lived breathing through my mouth for over a month. I'm fine now. Because I kept breathing through my mouth, I even got tonsillitis and it spread into body aches. That memory was truly the worst. My retruded chin did not improve. To keep the tooth direction the same, I think they could move the mandible upward but couldn't bring it forward. I was informed of this beforehand and proceeded with the surgery. I'm very satisfied with the surgery.
