I had incisional ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty. My eyes were already close together, and only my left eye had an epicanthal fold, so I was originally not going to do epicanthoplasty. But they suggested doing epicanthoplasty just enough to remove the epicanthal fold, so I agreed. It’s now day 6 after surgery, but the epicanthoplasty was done too excessively, so too much of the lacrimal caruncle is visible. My tears don’t pool and just flow right down, and when the wind blows, my eyes sting. It might be because it’s still the early stage after surgery, but I feel like the opening was made too large, and too much of the inner double-eyelid line is visible, so it looks creepy. What do you think? Will it get better with time? If these are side effects and the surgery was done incorrectly, can I receive compensation?
