Review of upper eyelid fat removal for a man

Ever since I was young, kids teased me for having a lot of fat on my upper eyelids. A friend casually said I should try removal surgery, so without looking into it much, I used an app and had it done at a place with decent reviews. I think I got estimates from 2-3 places. Two places said it would be better not to remove it, and one place said the volume would decrease a bit and make it easier to open my eyes. I had it done there, and there are pros and cons. For a while, I liked that my eyes naturally looked a bit bigger. But about 6 months later, after the swelling had completely gone down, the skin where the fat was removed started sagging. I thought it would get better over time, but it never reattached upward or anything like that. *People say cosmetic surgery has pros and cons, or gains and losses, but I think this kind of surgery requires sufficient disclosure and showing reference materials. Because it is a side effect that comes 100%. However, I think the effect would be good if it is done together with an incisional eye surgery that removes eyelid skin (I did not do double eyelid surgery because my skin is thick and I thought it would fail).

This review is a surgical review pursuing natural beauty.
