-Consultation details: Originally, the director recommended a facelift + double-chin liposuction. Looking at the ultrasound, they said there was fat filled around the jaw area in the face, so if I also got liposuction, the result would be more dramatic.. However, my budget was limited, and the director also said that even with just a lift, my complex points would improve and my jawline would improve significantly.. so I trusted them and had it done. -Surgical method: sedation anesthesia / facelift surgery took about 3 hours When you come in on the day, you have one more design consultation with the director. The director is experienced, so it feels like they know everything I’m worried about.. They pointed out the sagging around the cheekbones and the bulldog line one by one, told me all the expected results, and when designing, they had me look with a hand mirror and explained each thing while drawing lines on my face. -After surgery I think the pain was stronger from day 2 than on the day of surgery The surgical area overall felt tight and prickly.. heavy, but also like an electric current passing through? If I relaxed the area around my neck as much as possible and didn’t move, it was okay, but when I laughed, spoke loudly, brushed my teeth, or ate, there was a tingling pain.. The day right after surgery, I had dressing and a nutritional injection, and when I mentioned the pain, they said it would be best not to open my mouth as much as possible until the dressing was removed. I was prepared for swelling from the beginning, but it swelled more than I expected.. Until week 1, I stayed shut in, and from week 2 the pain got a bit better, so in the evenings I pulled my padded jacket hood down and slowly walked around the neighborhood for about 1 to 2 hours. They said moving around was good. Definitely from weeks 2 to 3, the swelling went down quickly, so it felt like my facial contour changed every day. When I had the stitches removed in week 3, the director told me that once even the remaining minor swelling went down, the cheekbone-to-temple line and bulldog fat would improve more. For aftercare, I received swelling injections, vitamin immune injections, and LED laser. On the day I got them, it wasn’t very noticeable, but the next day even the minor swelling went down suddenly. They also said they would keep managing the scars steadily going forward. I definitely think it’s good to go to a hospital that provides aftercare well.. Cheap hospitals either have no aftercare at all or, even if they do it, it’s half-hearted, but here it feels like the aftercare is included in the surgery fee? Before the facelift, I felt depressed every time I looked in the mirror because of bulldog fat and sagging skin along the cheekbone line, but even though there’s still some swelling, my jaw, cheeks, and cheekbones are more organized and my contour has come back, so I’m satisfied. Personally, I think if you’re going to get a lift anyway, it’s better to get it even one year younger.. Recovery is quick, and it’s a time when appearance has an important effect on self-esteem. I think satisfaction is higher if you get it then.
