Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

The Contour Standard is the best

<This is a photo from yesterday at 6 weeks! Maybe because I had liposuction, there is still some swelling left lol><Before surgery><4 weeks>I think I had been stressed about my appearance ever since I first started caring about it, because of my usual jawbone and cheekbone asymmetry, my broad-looking cheekbones from the front (really not pretty when wearing a hat), and the square jaw that would protrude when it was time for another Botox session. It has been a really long time, since around 6th grade in elementary school? Unless it was a selfie, I really hated other people taking photos of me, and after becoming an adult, I lived thinking that I definitely had to do something about this jaw and cheekbones. First, when I was 21, I tried orthodontic treatment, and in the end my facial area did become a bit smaller, but as expected, the bones did not change. I also got Botox for almost 7 years, and although after getting it many times it seemed to improve to some extent, if I left an interval of more than 6 months, my concerns about my face shape came back just the same. I wondered, is fat the problem? So I lost a lot of weight too, but the bones actually looked more prominent, so I thought, ah... unless I really shave down the bone, this complex of mine will continue, and I decided on surgery. I live outside Seoul, so I set aside one day and went around for consultations. I thought that if I did not find any place I liked during the consultations, I would have to come again the next week, but as soon as Director Oh Jung-seok, who gave me the first consultation, saw me, he said, ‘Your face shape is pretty, so why do you want to do it?’ and ‘If you tell me the face shape you want, I can make it for you. But your face right now is not asymmetric.’ I had only vaguely thought that I had to get rid of this asymmetry, and I believed that when it came to what face shape I would become, there was a face that suited each person and that the doctor would take care of it(?), so when he said that, honestly it felt like I had been hit on the head. Then we talked a bit, and I also went around to other hospitals. Because I trusted him more than the directors who told me, ‘Your face will become really pretty,’ I decided to go with Director Jung-seok for cheekbone reduction, square jaw surgery, and chin/jawline liposuction.. hahaha On the day of surgery, I practically made a PPT and wrote down all the things I disliked about my face and all the corrections I wanted, and brought it with me, and I also clearly decided on the celebrity look I wanted. When I did that, the director really~! liked it, and the conversation flowed very smoothly. I loved that it was such a T-type moment conversation. Anyway, I was extremely nervous before surgery, but when I closed my eyes and opened them, the surgery had ended safely.. I kept a pain diary, but I wrote it for about 4 days and then stopped. From days 1 to 3, it really hurt enough that I could not fall asleep easily.. Until week 1, I was shocked by the very tight swelling, by week 2, I was able to eat most things by cutting them up, and in week 3, I even went to a company dinner! From week 4 onward, I was just like an ordinary person! I still cannot exactly open my mouth wide and eat things, but the day before yesterday I even ate galbi.. and I am doing well. Of course, because sensation has not returned yet, there are numb/tingly areas, and because the swelling has not completely gone down, I do look in the mirror and go, hmm.. haha Still, compared to before, the swelling has gone down a lot, and since I basically overhauled my face, I plan to wait at least 3 to 6 months!! I have not met anyone I have not seen in a long time yet, so I do not know the degree of change, but a coworker at my company whom I came out to about my jaw surgery keeps saying that the jaw swelling going down is really dramatic, and that she wants to do it too lol Since it has only just been a month, I am not sure about anything dramatic yet, but I have no regrets about the surgery and no particular other side effects, and I am doing well.! If you are considering facial contouring, I am not saying you should immediately get surgery from Director Oh Jung-seok, but definitely, definitely go for a consultation at least once! This is a hospital where in-person legwork is essential, more than online research!!
