I brought photos to leave a review after 2 and a half years since incisional double eyelid surgery First, to start with the conclusion, I’m very satisfied!! My eyes were thick-looking, but it wasn’t fat; the skin itself was thick, so even with fat removal, non-incisional buried sutures weren’t possible for my eyes. So from the start, incision was the only option, and because I had the belief that if it was going to look obvious, it would be worse than not doing it, I only looked for places that would make it natural. I don’t really remember now exactly where I went, but I think I consulted at roughly 5 to 7 places. Everyone said similar things but with slight differences, and the place I chose didn’t recommend any canthoplasty at all and only talked about exactly the surgery I wanted, so I trusted them. Actually, even when I said I wanted posterior canthoplasty, they told me very honestly that my eyes wouldn’t see a big effect, and that they would do it if I wanted, but they didn’t recommend it Also, when I looked at reviews, many people with thick skin like mine had surgery there, and the results were pretty, so I finally decided on this place. The doctor held the line while raising it from level 1 to 4, and the recommended line was between levels 2 and 3. But I was so scared that I requested level 1.5, and they readily agreed. (But looking at it now, as the swelling went down, the line did become a bit lower, so I do think I should have listened.. Still, I’m satisfied because it’s natural!!) The surgery ended really well with not even 1 bit of pain, and both the doctor and the consultant were so kind and even the follow-up care for the review was handled really well!! The line might look too low, but they reflected everything I wanted, so I’m very grateful and satisfied
