I’m seeing a lot of questions about ear filler. I also got a lot of help from this community, so I wanted to leave a review. 1. It’s now been a little over a month since I got ear filler! My ears weren’t extremely pinned back, but I got tempted and had the procedure. Before that, on important days, I used to wear stickers for pinned-back ears. 2. The procedure took about 40 minutes (longer than I expected). They used injectable anesthesia, so it didn’t hurt during the procedure. It started hurting as the anesthesia wore off. Maybe it depends on the person? I see a lot of posts saying it hurts, but for me it wasn’t unbearable. 3. The day after the procedure ~ 2 weeks = extremely uncomfortable It felt like I had stiff hardboard placed behind my ears. First of all, I couldn’t lie on my side and use my phone, so that was really inconvenient lolololol 4. The design was much more excessive than I expected, so it felt unnatural. I thought it was swelling and waited 2 weeks, but then realized this was how the design had turned out. My philtrum is slightly long and my front cheeks are a bit sunken, so I already look a little monkey-like, and with my ears done like this too, I really felt like I looked like a monkey 5. After 3 weeks, I had it dissolved and redone at another clinic. The first procedure used 9 cc (I think that was way too much -_-). After dissolving it, I had it redone with 2 cc total for both ears. In conclusion, my current condition looks natural and I’m satisfied. 6. If you’re considering a procedure for pinned-back ears, please consider the following. - Use pinned-back ear stickers to sufficiently test whether ears that stick out more suit your face. - The design is much more important than you might think. Choose a clinic that gives detailed consultations. - Look through the clinic’s feed and choose a place that performs the procedure in your style. - Bruising seems to last about a month, but since it’s on the ears, it’s not extremely noticeable. - Pain and discomfort vary by person, but generally seem to last up to about a month.
