It had been about 2 years since I had quick cheekbone reduction surgery at another clinic, and when I went to aesthetic treatments, every time they managed my face with a machine, I felt a tingling sensation, so I had made up my mind that I would need to remove them someday! Pin removal is not mandatory; it’s your own choice! While looking into getting pin removal surgery, I learned about a clinic called Yungwakui Jeongseok, and I liked it even more because there is only one director and they only do facial contouring! It felt like such a waste to spend so much just to remove only the pins, and they were having an event, so I had a consultation and surgery on the same day! The front-desk staff were kind, and Director Oh Jung-seok explained things well without overtreatment, so I trusted them even more! My cheekbones were different in the front, so I had asked for shaving, but the director honestly told me it didn’t seem like it would be effective, so I didn’t do it.. I was very nervous, but the nurses in the operating room were kind and the director reassured me, so I completed the pin removal surgery well!! haha I’m originally the type who doesn’t swell much, so on the day of surgery there wasn’t much swelling (like the swelling after eating ramen and sleeping) My gums hurt though.. ㅜ Still, after taking painkillers, it’s bearable.. It’s not as much as the first surgery, but from day 3 I swelled a lotㅠㅠ.. I had bloody sputum for 2-4 days, major swelling lasted 2 weeks, and.. it’s been over 2 weeks, but the gum swelling still hasn’t gone downㅠㅠ It took a full month for even the minor swelling to go down.. It was something I would have had to remove someday, so I’m finally relieved now that I did it even one day earlier!!
